Hi there! We’re Ashley and Chris, the husband-and-wife team behind Stoney Creek Stays. We fell in love with hosting through our own travel experiences and have turned that passion into a mission: helping guests create unforgettable memories in beautiful homes that feel like their own.

 

Whether it's a cozy cabin near the lake, a beachfront getaway, or a peaceful retreat in the hills, we carefully design and manage each property to ensure comfort, cleanliness, and a five-star experience from start to finish.

Do you allow pets?
Please refer to the property description.
Do you allow smoking?
We do not allow smoking in any of our homes. Smoking is allowed outside of the homes. Some of our homes have special devices in them to detect cigarette or marijuana smoke. Violation of this policy will result in a $500 fine. Please do not throw your cigarette butts on the ground.
What is the check in and check out time?
Please refer to the property handbook.
May I request an early check in?
We will certainly do our best to accommodate an early check in; however, we cannot guarantee an early check in until we know whether or not we have another group checking out that morning. Unless you want to purchase a half day stay. Please let us know and we will see if we can accommodate that for you.
May I request a later check out?
We will certainly do our best to accommodate a late check out; however, we cannot guarantee a late check out until we know whether or not another group arrives that afternoon. We usually will know 24-48 hours before departure to confirm since we have last minute bookings. If available, we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Why has the price increased since I last looked?
We use a pricing tool that considers market demand, so our prices are constantly fluctuating.
Can I extend my stay?
Guests may extend their stay if the property is available.
Can I have a party?
We are sorry but we do not allow parties at any of our properties. If you have any other events you would like to have please feel free to reach out to us at 405-237-5210.

Do you provide kitchen supplies?
Our kitchen is stocked with the basic cooking supplies: plates, cups, bowls, baking sheets, baking pans, utensils, silverware, wine glasses, coffee, etc. You are welcome to bring your personal specialty item(s), if needed, for your visit.

I liked that it was near the beach. I did not like that I pretty much had to vacuum the floors due to them being dirty. The dishes had food left on them from previous use. The sofas/living-room, I wished we used but there was a huge stain on the ottoman that drip dried onto the carpet. I don’t know if something was spilled by prior visitors or a pet had an accident. Regardless, it was not cleaned. One of the queen bed sheets had stains on them, another had hair. I had to take both those sheets off. Just because pets are allowed doesn’t mean they should be allowed on any furniture. The cleaning crew definitely needs to make changes because this house needs a really good deep clean asap.

From booking to check out this experience was fantastic. Upon my family’s arrival we were in awe of the property and truly excited to explore. The bath in shower combo was breathtaking, the kids all wanted to use it lol. The massive kitchen was my favorite place to be, and the pool was conveniently located so that the kids could just walk out their bedroom doors and jump in. Oh! And the convenience of an endless supply of towels!! The master bedroom was connected to a balcony that overlooked the small lake perfectly for us to enjoy the sunrise with a cup of coffee. I had a few late night questions about some things to which the hosts responded to quickly to make sure there was nothing delaying our relaxation. We swam, we fished, we grilled and we watched movies. With such differing personalities, we definitely appreciated the variety of activities available to us. Thank you for having us!

I had a baseball tournament near San Leon and needed a place to unwind after long days at the fields. This stay was perfect. The stars lit up the night, the fish were biting day and night, and the pool and hot tub were exactly what I needed to relax and recharge. The whole place had an easy, peaceful vibe that made the trip even better. I’ll definitely be reaching out to Chris again next year when we’re back in town for another tournament.
